Action memo from Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) #p2 #p2012

Elizabeth Warren for Massachusetts

Deadline Friday: 5,000 Contributions
Over the past few weeks, I've heard a lot of great stories from people who are joining this fight for the middle class. The tremendous support from working families across Massachusetts is truly amazing. Thank you for being a part of this.
But one particular gift really touched me: a bucket.
The bucket came from Laurel and Tracy, who wrote to say they had literally emptied their piggy bank because they believe this campaign stands for the "greater good." And they filled the bucket with their nickels, dimes, and quarters to prove it.
That bucket of change is important to me, not only because it represents their faith and confidence in me and this campaign, but also because it illustrates something else: this campaign's strength comes from people like Laurel, like Tracy, and like you.
We have our first major fundraising deadline this Friday at midnight, so I'm asking you to step up and help before this critical deadline.
As great as these last two weeks have been, the fact is, it's only been two weeks. Everyone else in this race has been raising money and building a campaign for months, so I know we have a lot of catching up to do.
The next big milestone is September 30 -- this Friday. We need to make sure we show as much grassroots strength as possible before we file our first fundraising report, and we don't have much time.
We need to reach 5,000 new contributions before Friday at midnight.
All across Massachusetts, working men and women are tired of seeing big corporations get all the breaks while they struggle.
Together, we can change that.
Thank you for your support,
Elizabeth
