To be a volunteer in the supply line for #ows

Attend an Occupy
Liaison Training:
Dear Beckerman,
The Occupy Supply fund continues to be a major success thanks to the dedication, passion and generosity of Firedoglake Members like you.
Now we need you for the next, critical step of this campaign: getting this gear from the suppliers to the occupiers. We want you to invite you to be an “Occupy Liaison” and work directly with the fund and your local occupations to get supplies in the hands of the protesters.
If you are interested in becoming a liaison, please sign up for one or both of our training webinars next week:
Click here to sign up for the Thursday, November 10 liaison training webinar at 8pm eastern.
--OR--
Click here to sign up for the Sunday, November 13 liaison training webinar at 4pm eastern.
As an Occupy Liaison, you’ll be the link between our union-made supply chain and the occupations, providing them with cold weather gear, supplies, our weatherizing tip sheet and other information that will help them last the winter. The liaison will be our point person for updates and information from local occupations and our contact for the Occupy Supply fund’s efforts in that area.
If you plan on attending a training please try to bring the following information:
1. About how many protesters camp out regularly at your local occupation?
2. Are there are any special circumstances at you local occupation? (Curfews, tent restrictions, etc...)
3. Are there any supplies that are not allowed at the protest site? (Propane, tent stakes, heaters, etc...)
Our liaisons will provide an organic support network for the supply fund and stay in contact with the encampments on a regular basis.
With your help, we believe the Occupy Supply fund will be a watershed project of the FDL Membership program. If you are interested in becoming liaison, sign up for one of our two training sessions.

Click here to sign up for the Sunday, November 13 liaison training webinar at 4pm eastern.
FDL members are what made this fund possible, and as Occupy Liaisons, will be the face of this operation. I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done already.
In Solidarity,
