The
second season of Orange
is the New Black (OITNB) is about to premier, and New Yorkers
are wearing orange to stop
the abusive conditions at the Long Island jail where the hit show is filmed.
OITNB
tries to tell the truth about life in prison. But real life at Riverhead jail is
too inhumane to make it on TV.
- People are living, sleeping and eating amid toilets
flooding over with other people's feces.
- People's skin is changing color, flaking and
bleeding.
- More
disgusting details on Buzzfeed...
Take
action: Tell the county executive that instead
of wooing Hollywood, he should stop violating the law and clean up his
jails.
Thank
you for standing up for human dignity. #HumanityistheNewBlack
Sincerely,
Donna
